Sky Valley is an existing resort development consisting of 2,200 acres in the beautiful north Georgia Mountains, minutes from Highlands &
Cashiers, North Carolina. Merrill Trust owns the remaining 575 acres of undeveloped property surrounding the golf course which is zoned for 1,500 residential units and a new urbanism village.

Merrill Trust completed a $4,000,000 renovation to the golf course,
making it one of the finest courses in the north Georgia and North
Carolina mountains. The course rolls gently through a beautiful valley
setting framed by panoramic views of high mountains, crystal clear streams, waterfalls, and lakes. Planning is completed for Sky Valley’s New Urbanism Village, which will become the activity center for the City of Sky Valley.
